Background

Rakafella, a talented comedian and actor based in Atlanta, embarked on his first variety show, Rakafella’s Modern Life, showcasing performances by local artists. Recognizing the importance of effective branding, marketing, and production for the success of his show, Rakafella sought the expertise of Gordon Media Company.

Objective

Our objective was to provide comprehensive support to Rakafella, encompassing venue selection, talent coordination, collateral design for both digital and print mediums, and audio-visual production. Understanding Rakafella’s busy schedule, including his headlining performance and other commitments, we aimed to streamline the process and minimize his workload.

Process

Working closely with Rakafella, we began by conceptualizing the name of the event and developing ideas for its visual identity. This involved creating a new logo that incorporated his favorite color, red, symbolizing the boldness and energy of Rakafella’s unique brand. We ensured that the branding and graphics reflected the desired look and feel of the show.

Furthermore, we worked hand in hand with Rakafella to create captivating assets for digital marketing campaigns, optimizing their impact across his social media channels. Additionally, we facilitated online event ticketing to simplify the ticket-purchasing process for attendees.

Results

Thanks to our strategic efforts, Rakafella’s Modern Life variety show experienced a resounding success. The event was sold out, underscoring Rakafella’s emergence as a genuine local talent in the entertainment industry.
