Background

Adrian Smith, a renowned celebrity dog groomer and the owner of Groomed by Adrian pet salon, has been making waves in the industry since 2012. With locations in New Orleans and Atlanta, Adrian has built a reputation for delivering fresh looks to A-list celebrities, showcasing his talents on television and trade shows, and mentoring aspiring groomers on their journey to success. As his business continued to flourish, Adrian recognized the need for a comprehensive brand strategy and a website redesign to position his business for the future.

Process

Our initial meetings focused on understanding Adrian’s main business objectives, which included streamlining the appointment booking process, expanding his team, launching a pet grooming training program, and selling his own line of grooming products. With full creative direction entrusted to us, we opted for a visually engaging website design that reflected Adrian’s eclectic personality, using his favorite color, teal. The website’s overall style was carefully crafted to match the unique ambiance of his salons.

To prevent overwhelming users, we structured the website in a way that intuitively presented information without clutter. Considering that most of Groomed by Adrian’s website traffic originated from social media platforms, we paid meticulous attention to creating an intentional mobile experience.

Strategic placement of appointment booking widgets, client photos, and testimonials throughout the website enhanced credibility and encouraged bookings. The homepage featured an opt-in form for clients to join Groomed by Adrian’s exclusive text message list, where they would receive updates on specials and Adrian’s travel notices when grooming in other cities.

Additional pages included a redesigned price list, team bios, an online store, and detailed sales pages for grooming classes and dog models. Recognizing the importance of social media, we developed consistent messaging and created captivating ad content for various campaigns, promoting specials and opportunities to book Adrian when he traveled to different states.
